The photojournalist Evgueni Ananievich Khaldei (1917-1997) is the author of one of the most famous photographs of the twentieth century, the Soviet flag floating on the ruins of the Reichstag on May 2, 1945.
Having followed the Red Army from Murmansk to Berlin, he made amazing images of the Second World War.
Here we find his large war photographs, but also a large number of unpublished on the USSR from the 1930s to the 1970s, work of an artist with a rigorous framing, which is in line with the greatest photographers of the twentieth century.
